With every learner I am engaging, personal and flexible. I take time to connect with and get to know someone before jumping into any assignment or task. Relationships are an important part of the learning process, and they help create a space of comfort and trust in which one can learn and grow.

No matter the task, I always take time to set realistic goals. Once the goals are set, we then come up with a working plan that makes it possible to achieve set goals. Along the way, we revisit the goals to make sure we are on track. If we are, we celebrate! If we are not, we figure out what adjustments we can make to feel more accomplished.

I regularly communicate with the parents of my learners. I share celebrations, goals and feedback.
